These terms apply to your use of the Garage Guide app (“the app”, “we”), run by Rashed Al-Fahad (individual developer), Kuwait. By using the app you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. What Garage Guide is

Garage Guide is a directory of car repair shops in Kuwait. It helps you find shops, compare prices and reviews, request quotes from several shops, and contact a shop.

We are not a party to the work. Any repair, service, price, warranty or payment is agreed directly between you and the shop. We do not inspect cars, carry out repairs, or guarantee a shop’s work, prices or availability.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. You need a mobile number that you own to create an account, and you are responsible for activity on your account.

3. Prices, quotes and offers

• Prices shown on shop pages are estimates provided by shops, and can change with the car’s model and condition.
• A shop’s offer on your quote request is an estimate for planning, not a binding contract. The final price is what you and the shop agree.
• When you choose an offer, your name and phone number are shared with that shop only, so it can contact you (see the Privacy Policy). Choosing an offer does not oblige you to use that shop.
• Requests stay open for 48 hours unless you cancel them or choose an offer.

4. Reviews and content

When you post a review, photos or a request, you confirm that:

• it is about your own real experience with that shop;
• it is honest, and does not contain insults, threats, discrimination, spam, advertising, or someone else’s personal information (such as phone numbers or plate numbers);
• you own the photos you post, or have permission to post them.

Reviews are public under your short name. Shops can reply publicly. You keep ownership of your content, and you allow us to show it in the app and on our pages for as long as it is published.

Anyone can report a review. We may hide or remove content, or suspend accounts, that break these terms.

5. Shop owners

If you register or claim a shop, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it, and that the license and details you provide are true. You agree to:

• keep your listing accurate (name, location, hours, services and prices);
• answer quote requests honestly, and use a customer’s phone number only to contact them about their request;
• respond to reviews respectfully, and not post reviews of your own shop or your competitors.

Changes you make to your shop appear immediately and may be checked by our team. We may edit, suspend or remove listings that are inaccurate or misleading, and we decide which claims to approve.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app: no fake accounts, fake reviews or requests, scraping or copying Garage Guide or its list of shops, interfering with the service, or using it for anything unlawful.

7. The app itself

The app, its design and content (other than what users and shops add) belong to Rashed Al-Fahad (individual developer). Shop names and brands belong to their owners. The app is provided as it is; we work to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for the work, prices, conduct or availability of shops, for agreements between you and a shop, or for indirect losses from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Kuwaiti law that cannot be limited.

9. Ending use

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Account → Privacy & delete account). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and tell you in the app before important changes apply. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, and disputes are handled by the courts of Kuwait.
